Hello! I’m Jennifer Evers, President and founder of MM&J Consulting. I’m a social media specialist, providing social media marketing, training and event promotion for individuals and businesses.
I got my start in social media somewhat unexpectedly. Following my lifelong love of travel, I was studying at my local community college to become a travel agent. It was there that I first got truly involved in social media … and I was smitten. I put my travel agent plans aside and I haven’t looked back yet.
In 2011, I created the lifestyle blog Me, Myself and Jen (www.memyselfandjen.com). My work there focuses on family, parenting and travel, as well as product and brand reviews. As the blog has grown, I’ve become a respected voice in the blogging community, and I’m now a regular contributor to Chicago Parent Magazine.
By 2013, I realized that with my specialized knowledge and in-the-trenches experience, I could help others learn how to navigate the complex and often confusing world of social media. I founded MM&J Consulting, and the response has been amazing.
Through MM&J, I’ve worked with charitable organizations, travel and tour operators (my travel agent training comes in handy!), retail and consignment stores and local celebrity personalities. In our first year of business, MM&J was named semi-finalist for “Most Awesome Mom-Run Businesses” for the 2013 Red Tricycle Totally Awesome Awards. I’ve made several appearances on the pages of Naperville’s Glancer Magazine, the “Not So Soccer Mom” web radio show, and the LIVE! With Momma Cuisine Cooking Talkshow in a segment called “The Scoop”, where I talked about trending topics in pop culture.
